Quake Help Terms of Use
By using the quakehelp.co.nz web site, “Service” a hosted service of “Quake Help Limited” or “we”. You agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Use"), which includes our Privacy Policy.Your use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Use. By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you also agree to the terms and conditions of any license agreement(s) that affect or are affected by the Service.
You understand and agree that:
- You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your registered member name.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- Quake Help reserves the right to change the value of Quake Help rewards at any time.
- You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other Quake Help users.
- You may not use the Quake Help service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
- You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, jobs, links ("Content") that you submit, post, and display on the service.
- You must not modify, adapt or hack quakehelp.co.nz the “Site:” or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the site
- You must not create or submit unwanted email or messages ("Spam") to Quake Help or its members.
- You must not transmit any worms or viruses to Quake Help or its members.
- You must not, in the use the Service to violate any laws or regulations, including but not limited to copyright laws.
- Quake Help reserves the right to withdraw without notice any content that may in Quake Help’s view be in breach of any clause of this agreement or of any law or regulation.
- Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your quakehelp.co.nz account.
- Quake Help can email all users with offers from our partners.
- You can cancel your account at any time by using the Contact us page.
- You understand and agree that you use the service at your own risk.
- You agree that if you accept any task promoted through the Service, that you will, in undertaking that task, abide by your relevant Tertiary Institution Code of Conduct, any policies or directions issued by Quake Help from time to time, and all laws and regulations, including those relating to Health and Safety, if applicable
We reserve the right to:
- Modify the service for any reason, without notice at any time.
- Alter these Terms of Use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use, we will notify you.
- Refuse to provide the Service to anyone for any reason at any time.
- Reclaim usernames, profiles, groups or events on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.
- Change the points value of Quake Help rewards, remove rewards from the site at any time.
- Quake Help points have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Remove content from the Service. In its sole discretion, Quake Help may (but is not required to) remove content from any account utilising the Service that Quake Help deems potentially:
- A violation of any Quake Help policy, including these Terms of Use;
- Harmful, threatening, false, libellous, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; Subject to copyright and/or trademark laws or protection; obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or in violation of other applicable laws, rules or regulations.
- In the event Quake Help is required to remove content, Quake Help may, in its discretion, terminate or deny access to and use of the Service by the owner of the account within which such content is located.
Rights of Ownership
Intellectual Property:
Subject to and conditional upon your compliance with the following Quake Help grants to you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Site for your own viewing and if a registered Member for the purpose of using the Services provided on the Site.You must not copy, reproduce, recompile, decompile, disassemble, distribute, publish, display, perform, modify, upload to, create derivative works from, transmit, or in any way exploit any part of the Site without our prior written consent.
Any modification of the Site content would be a violation of our copyright and other proprietary rights and you must not offer any part of the Site for sale or distribute it in any way, including, but not limited to, a hyperlink frame, or a computer network without our prior written consent.

Any information and materials u you upload to the Site or otherwise provide to Quake Help become the property of Quake Help, subject to your rights to privacy and ownership of the intellectual property in such information and materials. You can remove your profile at any time by deleting your account.Quake Help undertakes to obey all relevant copyright laws. We will review all claims of copyright infringement received and remove content deemed to have been posted or distributed in violation of any such laws. To make a claim, please provide us with the following:
- Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or the person authorized to act on its behalf.
- Description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Description of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit Quake Help to locate the material.
- Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email.
- Statement by you that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under the pains and penalties of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

- Other trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Service may be the trademarks of third parties.
- Your use of the Service grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Quake Help or third-party trademarks and you acknowledge that you have no ownership rights, in and to any of these names and marks.
- You must not use the Site, trademarks, trade names, or service marks in any manner which creates the impression that such names and marks belong to, or are associated with you, or are used with our consent, unless we have given prior written consent.
